100% real. No, really.
We are enthusiastic purveyors of natural, sustainable, hand-crafted, small batch, unique culinary products. We spend our time stuffing our faces with deliciousness in the name of research to save you the awful task of having to do it yourself. Just kidding. We do it to find the best of the best. Not just in taste, but in quality too. Every product we sell is 100% free of artificial colors, dyes, chemical preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, antibiotics, added hormones, sulfites, nitrites, nitrates, and those really long, impossible to pronounce words found on food labels elsewhere.
Shop from the convenience of your couch in our online store! Event locations, dates & times are listed on the Find Us page. We're co-founders of the newly launched Green Island Farmer's Market and staple vendors at Market Days on Broadway, so look for us on Tuesdays from 5-8PM at River Flow Yoga (6801 River Road) and in the median at the corner of 9th & Broadway on Saturdays between 9AM & Noon. Keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram @wheelhaus_provisions for the latest news and events!
When you eat products purchased from the Wheelhaus, you can digest easy. We are here to de-mystify specialty foods, and help our customers find, use, value, appreciate and ultimately prefer artisan products over the factory farmed, mass produced, genetically modified items weighing down store shelves, home pantries and waist lines across the country.
Why we exist (besides mom, of course)
We live in a world of chemically manipulated, preservative laced, cancer & obesity causing, mass-produced food products stacked high on shelves at convenience stores, supermarkets and wholesale clubs. No longer is "fast" food just found in the drive-through window. It surrounds us. It's cheaper and more convenient to buy a hamburger, fries + a big gulp from Wendy's than a nutritious salad. That's crazy.
We at Wheelhaus are the antithesis of the traditional American food retailer. We've made it our mission to provide accessibility to food made with integrity. We're starting small, but we're coming in hot. We're here to charismatically fill the void. If enough people jump into this black hole with us, who knows what stratosphere we'll end up in!
We'd like to emphasize that, as we said earlier, we intentionally started small. Things took off faster than we anticipated, and we thank all of our loyal customers for the support and encouragement. At the moment, we're scaling our operation to meet demands and it is a daunting task. FREE local deliveries on orders $30+ and nationwide shipping launched in Q1 2017. As we look to our future we see a very full crystal ball. Cooking classes. Packaged dinner kits with local ingredients that change weekly. Our own product line. Maybe another fancy french truck. Restaurant partnerships perhaps. Honestly, we're not really sure but the future is so bright. In fact, we're rocking sunscreen + Raybans.
We're forever working on our inventory. There are many great artisan products out there so it's inevitable that we're missing a few. If we've overlooked something you're currently obsessed with, don't be shy. Please tell us about it by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you represent a brand and would like us to consider your product, please submit sales materials + product information and pricing to email@example.com.
